RENTALS
1912 Center

The 1912 Center Great Room, Plaza and Kitchen are available for rental on a first-come, first-served basis. Space reservations are now handled directly at the 1912 Center in the Heart of the Arts, Inc. (HAI) Management Office. This office is located inside the Senior Center of the building. Groups or individuals should direct all facility-use questions to HAI's Executive Director, Jenny Sheneman. She can be reached by calling (208) 669-2249 Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The damage deposit of $250 is due at the time of the reservation with the balance of the rental fee due the first day of the month prior to the month of the event. (For example, payment in full would be due February 1 for a March event date.) HAI accepts cash, check, money order, Visa or MasterCard payments. Checks should be made out to HAI.
How to rent the Great Room:
-
Look at the online calendar to see if the date and time you are interested in reserving is available.
- Review our 1912 Center rental fees & policies document to be certain that you will abide by these policies when renting in the 1912 Center.
Download Use Policy [pdf].
- Print out a Room Rental Application and fill it out completely to use as a reference for making your reservation.
Dowload the Rental form [pdf].
- Call the management office at (208) 669-2249 to make your reservation over the phone or bring the application with you to the 1912 Center to check out the Great Room and Kitchen in person. The Executive Director will be happy to show you around and to answer any questions that you may have about renting. You may also fax your application form to (208) 883-4576.

- You will receive a rental contract to sign and the damage deposit check for your rental is due. Once the deposit and contract have been received in the office, your event will be added to the online facility calendar. It will be listed as a private event with the full rental hours, unless you let us know the event is open to the public. Public events list additional event information and only show the public hours for the event on the calendar.
- Full payment of rental fees are due the first day of the month prior to the month of your event.
- On the day of your event you will be met at the building by one of our Event Coordinators. They are here to help your event go smoothly without interfering in the actual event. They are not to be the exclusive set-up people for events, but they are happy to help you with layout ideas and getting out tables and chairs. They will also help get P.A. systems running and the projector screen set up. Following your event, they will be on hand to help your group break everything down and to get the room back to neutral.
Every rental of the 1912 Center helps to build out the remaining 20,000 SF in the facility. Thank you for making a valuable contribution to our community. Heart of the Arts, Inc., looks forward to working with you.
